Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 9, 2026
1. Commitment
Orlens (Yonatan Halperin, authorized dealer ע.מ. 302671797) is committed to making the service accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law 5758-1998 and the Equal Rights Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments) 5773-2013.
2. Conformance Level
The site aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA (Israeli Standard 5568), to the extent reasonable in current technology. This statement covers orlens.co.il.
3. Accessibility Features
- Full RTL (Hebrew) and LTR (English) support with automatic language detection (HTML
dir+lang). - High contrast in light and dark themes, with system-preference detection.
- Hebrew-tuned typography (Assistant + Noto Serif Hebrew); generous base size and 1.85 line-height in long-form content.
- Alt text on meaningful images.
- Full keyboard navigation (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, Esc) with a visible focus indicator (focus-visible).
- ARIA labels on non-trivial buttons and form fields.
- Semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer) and a sane heading hierarchy (h1 → h2 → h3).
- Mobile touch targets ≥ 48px.
- Periodic manual screen-reader testing (NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
- Cookie banner with explicit consent — declining analytics does not break functionality.
4. Known Limitations
Some video lessons (Spotlightr) do not yet include Hebrew captions across all 53 lessons. We are adding them incrementally and rolling out Whisper-based auto-transcription. Some visual exercises (e.g., spotting lighting differences) may be less accessible to blind/low-vision users — please contact us for an alternative format.
